Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol is translated ¡°Spirit¡±. It has an aroma and can
act as a nervine. Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol provides calories to the human body but excessive absorption of Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol can lead to paralysis. Alcoholic beverages have developed with the progress of man-kind and have diversified, producing various tastes and smells with respect to the geographical, historical, and national differences of raw materials and methods. Korea has many kinds of alcoholic drinks and the ¡°Soju¡± is the representative alcoholic beverage among them. The main ingredient of ¡°Soju¡± is Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol.(Over 90% of total products of Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol have been used to make ¡°Soju¡± in Korea). Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol which is made in Korea is composed primarily of rice, barley, sorghum, and sweet potato and is of the best quality. Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol is produced using state-of-the-art automatic distillation manufacturing systems and can produce a pure, high-quality, non-toxic product. In short, Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol is mainly used as a key ingredient in the making of alcoholic drinks in Korea, the manufacturing and distribution of which is strictly controlled by the government. However, most people think of Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol as just a chemical product which is made through chemical treatment. The definition of Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol in the Korean liquor- tax law is as followings.

A. Fermentation Ethyl Alcohol is the starch food which contains over 85%
